Job Title: VP of Marketing  

Location: Remote, USA   

Salary: $190,000 - $200,000 annually, plus bonus plan  

Position Overview: As Vice President of Marketing at Pharos, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to drive growth and elevate our brand to new heights. This is a role for someone who thrives on both vision and execution — a leader who not only sees the future of our marketing but has the skills to bring it to life. 

Your primary objective? To propel Pharos forward by defining, championing, and executing dynamic marketing strategies. You'll lead the charge in demand generation, crafting compelling campaigns, and making data-driven decisions that produce high-quality pipeline to fuel our sales success. And your team will enable our sales team to act on that pipeline through compelling sales enablement. 

Beyond marketing metrics, you’re passionate about people. You'll inspire, mentor, and grow an exceptional marketing team, building a culture of innovation and collaboration. You'll be hands-on with brand positioning, segmentation, product launches, and campaigns that make an impact.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Overall Marketing Strategy: Develop, champion, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Pharos's business goals, driving growth and success. 

  • Marketing Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth. 

  • Brand Consistency and Messaging: Ensure consistent, impactful brand messaging and quality across all marketing channels, touchpoints, and within the Pharos organization. 

  • Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Define key customer segments and develop targeted marketing strategies to effectively reach and engage them. 

  • Product Go-to-Market: Define and manage product go-to-market initiatives, including developing value propositions, pricing strategies, internal and external enablement, and identifying market expansion opportunities. 

  • Growth Marketing and Lead Generation: Implement growth marketing strategies to generate high-quality leads, and drive marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline and revenue. 

  • Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that meets the informational needs of Pharos's target audiences, delivering valuable, relevant content. 

  • Analyst and Influencer Relations: Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers, analysts, media, and key stakeholders to enhance brand credibility and visibility. 

  • Marketing Technology: Manage and refine our marketing technology stack to streamline marketing processes, nurture leads, and track marketing ROI. 

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, focusing on initiatives that drive the best short-term and long-term returns for Pharos. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (preferably in B2B SaaS or software solutions) 

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies 

  • Experience in leading and mentoring high-performing marketing teams 

  • Strong demand generation and pipeline development experience 

  • Track record in product marketing and go-to-market strategies 

  • Expertise in brand management across multiple channels 

  • Numerically fluent, with demonstrated proficiency in data analytics for performance monitoring and optimization 

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and customer success teams 

  • Strong communication skills for internal and external relationship building 

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems 

  • Experience managing marketing budgets for optimal ROI 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
