Role Overview:
Pharos is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR), with a focus on results, to join our marketing team. The BDR is a crucial part of our sales and marketing process, responsible for creating awareness of Pharos in our target market and generating interest in our industry-leading products and services. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn the foundations of SaaS enterprise sales and establish a rewarding career in the field.

Pay Range:  Base of USD$55,000-USD$60,000 per year + a commission target of USD$20,000 per year. 

Location:  
Candidates must reside in the United States. Candidates in the Rochester New York, Las Vegas, or   Denver area will be given preference. This position can be hybrid or remote for the right candidate.  

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Qualification:
  • Develop and implement a defined methodology to generate qualified sales leads.
  • Identify and engage prospects through various communication channels, including phone, email, social media, and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Refer qualified leads to the appropriate account executive for further engagement.
Appointment Setting:
  • Achieve monthly production goals by setting appointments for the account executive team.
  • Utilize multiple communication channels to schedule appointments, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
  • Update the Salesforce CRM database with accurate and relevant information.
  • Maintain a comprehensive activity history to track interactions and progress.
Information Capture:
  • Capture valuable business insights through meaningful interactions with prospects.
  • Gather critical data that contributes to the enhancement of our sales strategy.
Positive Image Projection:
  • Project a positive image consistent with Pharos values in all client and community interactions.
  • Uphold the company's reputation through professionalism and adherence to our core values.
Continuous Skill Development:
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and advancements.

Requirements:
  • Associates with a business focus or equivalent; BS degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience
  • 2+ years of cold calling experience
  • 1+ years’ experience with CRM’s, including CRM data entry
